We are born with the ability to recognize images, but we have to learn to read. So people understand images faster than text - and images stick better too. A thoughtful doodle is worth waaaaay more than a thousand words. So why doesn't everyone communicate with diagrams, doodles, and infographics? Because of shame. Art shame. Nearly all of us were told at some point that we couldn't draw, so we stopped drawing. But what if you saw drawing as communication, not as art? And doodles as a way to organize your thinking?
