- Facilitated Workshop with Nonprofit Teams
- What are Visual Workshops? Angie Moline works with groups to create interactive, focused - often visual - workshops that cultivate a shared vision of success and, thus, a more collaborative, engaged not-for-profit team. We are open to any proposed goals; past awardees have clarified core values, refined their mission / vision, delineated roles, visualized their workflow, and explored barriers to inclusion.
- Application process: Complete the application form below and send it in via email.
- Application deadline: May 5, 2023 (midnight MST)

FAQs
Q: What is your timeline for 2023 applications, notifying awardees, and holding workshops?
A: Applications are due by email on May 5, 2023. Award winners will be notified by May 15, 2023. Workshops and visual sessions must be completed by August 15, 2022.
Q: My organization is not a registered non-profit, can we still apply?
A: Yes! Just describe what type of group you are and what your mission / goals are on the application.
Q: What does a Moline Creative workshop entail?
A. Moline Creative workshops typically begin with a brief organizational meeting to help the client refine the meeting objectives and identify key stakeholders. Next, Moline Creative works with the client to design the meeting agenda and visual process. Then, workshop invitations (and any pre-meeting homework) are sent to participants; the ideal group size for planning meetings is approximately 5-12 people because balances the number of creative minds in the room with the amount of “air time” each person gets during the meeting.
On the meeting day, participants gather to think, draw, discuss, and decide how to meet their objectives. Angie Moline facilitates the collaboration by drawing live notes of discussions, asking questions to help clarify ideas that emerge during the meeting, and encouraging the group to make thoughtful, timely decisions. She also inserts fun, creative activities so the group stays engaged throughout the day. At the end of the workshop all visual notes are photographed and compiled into a PDF report that is quickly shared with the meeting participants to encourage memory and retention.
Q. What expenses does my organization need to cover?
A. Your organization will need to cover printing costs (usually ~$100) and provide lunch / snacks for the group.
Q. Where should we meet?
A. Two great options in Flagstaff are the conference rooms at Moonshot / NACET and the Red Door Meet-up Space. We need enough space for your team to sit comfortably at a large table and also space for Angie to hang large posters where we can all stand and think and draw (she can bring a portable wall) .
